Candidus Reinsurance Services S.A. has been granted preliminary approval for its Reinsurance Broker License by the Superintendencia de Seguros y Reaseguros de Panamá (Resolution No. OAL-146 of 22 May 2025). The Company expects to obtain full approval in the coming weeks.

Bartolome is the Chief Executive Officer of Candidus and brings 20 years of financial experience managing and advising clients internationally in Europe, US and Latin America. Bartolome co-founded the Company after having overseen the Bermuda regulated operations of Appleby Global Services (Corporate Servies Provider, Listing Sponsor and Trust Business Service) and of Artex Risk Solutions (Insurance Manager).

He began his career in accounting and specialized in the areas of Governance, Compliance and Financial Risk Management. His expertise across multiple sectors includes Fiduciary, Defence, Investment Banking, Hospitality and Insurance, from which he developed keen expertise in Corporate Governance and Risk Management strategies and throughout the design and implementation of large Transformation Projects.

Bartolome is from Spain, a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, taught financial and management accounting at the Bermuda College between 2018 and 2019 and is the part of the executive of the Bermuda Captive Network.

Carmen is the Chief Risk Services Officer of Candidus. She graduated as Administrative Engineer from the Antioquia School of Engineering and Master in Risk Management from the Francisco de Vitoria University and the EALDE, Madrid, Spain.

Carmen is Certified in AIRM (ALARYS International Risk Management) since 2011 and has 20 years of experience in leading strategies focused on implementing Risk Management models in companies such as Alpina, Argos, ISAGEN, Medellín Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia and EPM.

Carmen also worked for several years at KPMG and Ernst & Young as a leader in the execution of risk management and internal audit projects, especially in the industrial sector. She is an Alternative Representative of ALARYS (Latin American Risk and Insurance Association) and IFRIMA (International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations).

Ryno is the Chief Financial Officer of Candidus. He is a distinguished Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)).

Leveraging his background, Ryno brings a wealth of financial, operational, and risk management expertise spanning the domains of Insurance Management, Technology, Information, Communication, and Entertainment.

Ryno's experience has been cultivated through engagements at industry-leading firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers in both South Africa and Sweden, as well as key roles at Artex Risk Solutions and Acumen Management Limited.
